My "free" day yesterday was a bit too free. Its so easy to underestimate one's calories. Looks like I need to keep an eye on things on my free days.

Whether that's to blame for today being especially hard, I don't know. What I do know is that having a routine and going to work goes a long day towards distracting me from food. Today I'm home alone with Will while Steve does an open house. I've been up with Will since 5:45 - so that means a long time between breakfast and lunch. But...

Down 3 lbs - TYJ! Measurements down as well - I suspected this before measuring as my clothes felt a bit different. Yipee! Yipee! Yipee! Yipee! Yipee! Yipee! Yipee! Yipee! Yipee! Yipee! Yipee! Yipee! Yipee! Yipee! 19 more lbs to go.

Goes to show that what works for me is, unfortunately, 1200 cals/day plus exercise. Today is my "free" day - where I eat what I want, without going terribly overboard, but which gets me through the rough parts of the week as something to look forward t...

I had my last New Family Connections meeting yesterday. It was really sad - I've enjoyed the other moms so very much.

I feel like a cloud has lifted off of me.

Of course, the main reason I feel lighter, more clear, more ME, is the medication - but I hope it will be a feeling that builds on itself as I can approach and accomplish more and more things with a more solid ground under my feet. (How many more "mores" can I work in there?)

Great workout today - on my brandnew, club length step! CK says I burned 375 cals, which is a bit high in my estimation, but it got me sweating.

Went shopping today - I actually handled it pretty well. I bought lots of pants and shirts in size 12, which is pretty awful for me, but it will make returning to work a bit easier (ie I won't wear the same 4 things for months). I also convinced myself that if I get pregnant again, I'll need them again on the way back down. So.
