Where does the time go?
I knew that having two kids, instead of just one, would affect my daily routine and life and free time and finances and EVERYTHING, but I didnt know exactly how. Its hard. Its okay, but its hard. It cracks me up when Ellen poops. She gets SOOO into it. And looks so self-satisfied. She grins at me through the straining and grunts. I think she knows it makes me laugh.
She can a 1/4 turn from her back to her side. She is fairly deliberate about reaching for objects and trying to bring them to her mouth. She talks and coos for long periods of time with or without another person to interact with. I think she is trying to yell, but it just come out as open mouth coughs.

I'm stuck at work. My car won't start. Poor Steve has to load the kids up and come get me. What a PITA. Its a LONG drive, too.
So - for once I have some time to blognal, and I'm just coming up blank.
Questions I've had lately:
*Do marriages recover from having children?
*Do people change? For the better? (I'm thinking of myself, here)
*Can a person acquire the knack of forgiving themselves for their failures?

No loss this week. Discouraging, but not entirely unexpected - I just didn't think there would be a loss. My body, as it generally does during the last 10 pounds, is very reluctant to shed weight. Keep on keeping on, though.
I am going to start getting up 1/2 hour earlier in the mornings. Hopefully this will give me some more personal time, and make me a bit happier and less likely to lose patience with the kids and Steve. Granted, I'll miss the sleep, but perhaps I can go to a 3x week appr...
