From an email to A:This week got away from me. Its rainy here, so its a perfect day to be holed up at Brunswick getting tons of paperwork done. I'll have a rare 3 full days at the house (Brunswick) this week - usually my days are split up with meetings or trainings or committee work all over town. Makes for big mileage reimbursement checks!

May 4, 2004Im at the dealership right now. I just was informed that the internet access will be removed from the two computers I sit at on Tuesday and Thursdays because someone has been abusing the privilege. I find that infuriating. I might consider quitting the dealership if that is the case. I can manage my money more tightly if I need to. Today started well, but has ended up badly. I slept in, which felt lovely, had coffee and read on the deck, and then worked for 2 and ½ hours on clearing and cleaning up the west side of the house. There is so much debris there dried leaves and grass growing in the cracks. The dirt part between the flagstone squares and the house has overgrown the squares so that they appear much smaller than they really are. I've had a good day - despite the small fluttery anxiety that's been hovering around my chest.
