Today Will starts his second year of preschool. I hope he enjoys it. There is also a board and parent meeting tonight. Enrollment isn't anywhere near the level it needs to be to support the staff and expenses, so I'm not sure how things will shake out. I just had what I think may turn out to have been a career epiphany - similar to the one I had a few years ago that prompted me to starting looking for the next thing, which turned into my current thing. You know you are an old married couple when you discuss at length the lives and events and movements of the nest of baby robins and their fierce/protective parents in the eaves of your deck. Almost as exciting is finding a broad-tailed hawk feather (16 inches long!) on a walk through the woods. Ditto worrying about where the lakes lone loon is if the gulf oil spill hurt him (loons migrate to and from there!) Ill be so sad. And the avidly shared bald eagle sightings.
