I'm listening to Will talk (yell, rather) to himself through the monitor. He's jumping on his matress, and describing the people he can see in the pictures on the wall in a collage. "Daddy, Tibby, Mommy, Gwa-ma, Faddy" He is also telling himself to calm down ("cam dan"

. Its not working, though.
He pooped in the toilet today!! He was SO proud of himself after seeing our overwhelmingly positive reaction. I wanted to cry, and almost did. Then I couldn't after realizing with...

Click and Clack on NPR have a position they credit as being their "Working Moms" expert, and the name ends up sounding like "her ass must be dragging" - that feels so apt this week.
I left the office early today since I had not meetings or other deadlines. My candidate of choice verbally accepted the position, which is great. This week was intense - I had meetings with the integration team, our new VP, our new AVP, and have to plan for final stages of a mjor project next...

...you read that right - Will's version of "butt cream." Cracks me up each time he says it. And he's not saying it to make me laugh - he is actually requesting cream (Desatin) on his bottom. That he means it makes me laugh even harder. He is getting so big. I come home from work each night wondering how old he going to look/seem to me that day. He's beginning to put two words together - "Daddy bedwom" (Daddy is in the bedroom). "Wioo-Wioo tincu" (Ripple is tinkling)...
