Quick morning note. Went for my walk with Ripple - it was horribly hard to get up. This will be the refrain for the next two months - I hurt. My body aches. I can't get comfortable. I am so very fat and hot. I think that about sums it up. Walnut got himself into a deep corner of my abdomen this morning and wouldn't leave - like he was holed up there, so walking was fun since I had to bend to left at about 90 degrees to keep me from gasping with pain.S and I had a wonderful holiday weekend....

Its early - and I've been up for at least a hour and a half. I slept straight through from bed to 4:40am which always (always = meaning since I can remember = meaning since getting pregnant) makes me feel so rested, even when its not much sleep in the grand scheme of what I consider enough sleep.So many babies around here! Its wonderful.
My little one is quiet right now, but that will change. His movements are so...big - they bump the cat and me and S in bed. What a strong, precious b...

Am feeling very panicky right now. I think it is because our server is down at work and so I can't do much. I think I am also panicky because I won't get an official offer from my company for the promotion for another month or so - I am 95% it will still happen, but I don't like the wait. Not now. Not while I"m on a countdown to the baby. S and I talked through all the worse case scenarios last night, so I don't think I'm worried about that. Am having a wonderful time with my sister in town. We've done tons of baby-stuff shopping and relaxing. We went to the state fair today and I saw the big fat pig, which is always the best part of the fair for me. I can't wait to take my baby to things like that so he can see the animals.My sister is amazing. She just accepted a job with the UN - with the division that works specifically on women's issues. She is doing wonderful things with her life and I'm so proud of her.

I love my husband. I love him so very much.We went to a concert at the MN Zoo last night and it was great - The Dirty Dozen Brass Band and CJ Chenier. The Zoo's amphitheatre (sp?) is outside, by a little lake, and it was beautiful. Great music, too. This was my birthday present to Steve. Walnut seemed to like the music, but judging by how much he moves, Walnut likes EVERYTHING. Someone at work told me they watched my shirt buttons move all throughout a meeting from baby moving and kicking ...
