Checked in today and I didn't lose anything - 135 again. I was upset for a bit and then slowly I started to accept it, noting two things - first, I had 4 days of 2000 cal plus eating on Thursday - Sunday, with Monday through Friday being 1200 - so, most likely I just ofset the damage done around Christmas. Secondly, I have my period and I'm very puffy so I assume I'm retain at least some water.
Onwards. I am going to try to do one more week of 1200 and then return to 1300. I think. The problem is that I really need a snack of some sort between lunch and dinner - the time span is just too long - 6 hours on the low end. And I can't really cut anywhere else. I have 100 calorie granola bars but they aren't very nutritious - I wish I could think of a great, nutritious 50 calorie snack. I should be able to. Maybe I'll ask the forums. Anyone reading this - any ideas? Unfortunately, it has to be portable.
I'm very happy with my gym workouts - I'm doing solid work outs (2 cardios, 2 weight sessions, and at least 1 swim). And if I do two weight sessions per week, any weight loss will be slow because of muscle retention and or building. I think I can live with that.
I refuse to let this discourage me - if I went through all of January at 1200-1300 with no loss, then I have a right to be discouraged. But if I could get to 132 by the end of January, then I will be pleased. That is 3 pounds in 30 days. I suppose I could it at as I lost 2 pounds in December (137 to 135). Hadn't thought of that.
