View LYNNABEL's food & exercise for this day

I'm sitting at the computer in my bra and sweat pants. With this GINORMOUS belly hanging out there for the world (ie the cats and Ripple) to see. Its 69 degrees outside and I'm hot. We just got back from our walk and I've got some coffee and a few minutes before I need to get going. Walnut is growing and stretching me so that I'm getting little burst blood vessels on my stomach - nothing too unsightly, but it reminds that I'm not making up the feeling of being stretched from the inside.

This weekend - as have many now - felt long. Not in a bad way - just in a way that seems to indicate that for a person who goes to bed at a reasonable hour, gets up at a reasonable hour, doesn't have children, and isn't drinking too much - ie an ADULT - two days off are enough to get rested. That or I've been brainwashed to think so. I don't think they're enough when you have a family, though. Then they must feel very, very short.

I've been forgetting to go to church. And I really mean that - forgetting. I think about it during the week, and then suddenly its 11:30am on Sunday morning and I've missed it again. And I don't think its pregnancy-forgetting - its just I need to make room for it if I really want to go.

We went to Tessa's wedding on Saturday and it was lovely - she was a beautiful bride. Just stunning.

Guess what S said/did last night? "Baby - why don't I scrub out the tub, and run you a bath?" OMG - it was HEAVEN. I layed there motionless in a totally relaxed stupor for a long, long time - I bet I even drooled I was so relaxed. :) The enjoyment was hightened also knowing how much it meant to S for me to feel so good about something he'd done/suggested.

We had several fun conversations about the baby and life and who we are and how much we love each other.

Life is precious.
