View LYNNABEL's food & exercise for this day
It cracks me up when Ellen poops. She gets SOOO into it. And looks so self-satisfied. She grins at me through the straining and grunts. I think she knows it makes me laugh.
She can a 1/4 turn from her back to her side. She is fairly deliberate about reaching for objects and trying to bring them to her mouth. She talks and coos for long periods of time with or without another person to interact with. I think she is trying to yell, but it just come out as open mouth coughs.
She grins at Will nearly all the time. Its so precious how much she adores him, and what a good job he does of celebrating her achievements with true good will and no jealousy. He has come so far since her birth.
She still doesn't sleep very well at night, but its hard to mind too much when she gazes up at us with a wide, toothless beam of joy.
I can't remember if I recorded here that Will say 'kitchen' as 'chicken.' 'Plash' is 'Splash'. He still says that things are 'a little suck' if they are stuck or won't do what he wants them to do. I'm looking forward to time with both of my babies this weekend.

If that cracks you up, you should see ME, uh, nevermind.
:$ I love to hear about how your children interact. Will celebrates her achievements and she adores him. Perfect big brother / little sister setup!

Love the Will-isms, as Michelle appropriately named them. My daughter could not say her "th"s. She was a thumb sucker, which she would say "sum sucker". She also mixed up "o" and "oo" in words when she was spelling. So she would tell us she had to "POP" when she had to go to the bathroom. When she started developing up top, she called them her "BOB"s. We still refer to them as "BOB"s to this day!

I'm glad Will is enjoying the big brother role more now that Ellen has shown her adoration. (Isn't that just like a man?
;) ) Enjoy your time with the babies this weekend.

Great stories today, Lynnie! I love the little "Will-isms". Maya keeps mixing up suprise, secret and privacy. Funny stuff!

"a little suck" seems appropriate, I might steal that one from him.
