View LYNNABEL's food & exercise for this day
Does anyone think that it is progress that instead of looking in the mirror and telling myself how fat I am, I now look in the mirror and tell myself I am weirdly shaped?
In my world, I think this is progress. Maybe someday I'll just look in the mirror and tell myself nothing.

I was reading a book that Connie recommended called "Big, Big Love." They mentioned a Dr? Sociologist? Some kind of expert? that talked about a "white tank top test." The thing is, you're supposed to put on a white tank top for 10 minutes each day and stand in front of a mirror and get used to how you look. The idea being that you will slowly come to accept yourself and that if you can do that in a white tank top, you can do it in ANYTHING. Wonder if it works.
:laugh5: I wish you didn't feel that way because I think you're beautiful, but I also think that everyone feels that way. OK, except the Gym Commando, but that's a whole 'nother topic. LOL

I totally get what you mean... However, I think everyone is uniquely shaped & sized... There aren't many people who are in love with their bodies. I am trying hard to accept mine. It's not easy, especially after 7 weeks of pretty intense marathon training & not seeing a smidge of difference in my body. But, I am getting stronger, and there has to be someone out there that is envious of my horse legs!
:) Love you, babe!

You are beautiful. I'll take your weird shape any old day of the week! Yep, sure would. Matter-o-fact, give it to me right now!

Since I've actually seen you in person I can say you are a smokin' hot Momma with a great shape!

I seriously do think it's progress.
It's proof that you are changing the way you think. And - assuming you were previously unhappy with your thinking - change is good.

Change that word "weird" to "unique!" We all have our OWN shape and no matter what, you ARE fabulous!

Maybe someday you'll look in the mirror and think, "Darling, you look fabulous!" Because it's true!
