View LYNNABEL's food & exercise for this day

I'm getting frustrated with the search function on here, for food items. I know that I have a particular food saved and yet it won't come up in a search. I have to choose my foods, and then scroll for a hundred years. And its so literal, it isn't smart enough to rearrange words.

Do any of you use any other tracking app or website that you prefer to CK?

I still use the ancient CK Desktop Diary but my Mac has warned me if/when I upgrade to the latest version of the OS it will no longer work. The Desktop Diary stopped uploading to CK with the last update they did to the website so I guess the writing is on the wall.

I won't use a website to track so I guess my options are limited.

For nutrient database I used Cronometer since before they had a tracking app. I like that their source info is govt and academic databases, and offers a broader range of nutrients to track. For tracking meals I used free version of LoseIt before coming to CK and had a ton of custom foods entered so never tracked here or tried Cronometer app when it came out. I looked into My Fitness Pal but yeah too much wrong info there.

I don't track much but when I do; My Fitness Pal. I don't like it for a lot of items because members feed the diary with their own versions and often I find them wrong. I had a hec of a time getting a raw chicken breast that wasn't under 10g fat.... crazy. I actually came to CK to get the real deal and entered macros accordingly.

CK is not very user friendly anymore. :sad3:
I don't track but I've heard good things about My Fitness Pal.
I think FitBit has one too but I've not used it.
