All in all, I had such a good time Will this weekend in fact, it was so great, that Im in tears this morning at my desk because I miss him so much.
I dont understand why its so hard to be aware from them now? Why not just after they were born? I dont usually think this way, but there is a sacrifice Im making in being the one to financially support my family. It just hasnt been so hard until the last month or so.
Im so excited. Im taking Will (just the two of us) to Wisconsin Dells tomorrow to meet up with a very dear girlfriend of mine from college and her two boys.
After airline travel (and travel with Steve and Ellen), this feels very low key. Its in a car, on our own schedule, and with a semi-reasonable and semi-independent human being. Piece-o-cake. And Will will enjoy the water park so very much.

Gawd, am I love with my husband today.

I'm humbled by his persistence against some pretty intense odds, and his accomplishments in spite of them, and his love for me and my babies. I sure picked a good baby-daddy.
I'm going to remember this the next time I feel like life with two small ones is akin to pouring lemon juice on papercuts or pushing rocks uphill for eternity.

Thank you, my friends - all your sympathy paid off Ellen slept from (drumroll, please) 10:20 pm to 7:15 am with only 15 seconds of crying in between. This makes me VERY VERY VERY happy, and well rested.
