Not sure what week it is in the Callie Countdown, but after holding at a plateau for three weeks, it finally broke just before Thanksgiving, by about ½ a pound. That ½ pound has stayed away, so I feel good that the old plateau is history. Im sure the new weight will be its own plateau for a while, but I think I can live with that. I am 35 today. I'm trying to figure out what that means to me. At one point it produced a lot of anxiety - original questions like, "What is the point of it all?" I appreciate the feedback you gave me on my last entry. I have thought long and hard about it and have not arrived at any conclusions other than I feel like this is becoming an obsession, which isn't what I'm aiming for. On the other hand, I'm not at all ready to concede the fight.I decided that since I couldn't decide what to do, that I would eat at maintenance on Sunday and take each day on its own after that until I can decide what I want to do long term. I am SO frustrated. No loss this week. Not even a 10th of a lb. Measurements were down (very, very slightly), but I can't accept that this is my new set point. Although, yes, it would be easier to maintain here, my self confidence is tied to a different number. Really, really tied to a different number.And looking forward to next week - I'm traveling! I can't expect to be on as on track as I want to be when traveling! I'm so frustrated.
What can I do differently?

Will's first school picture!!Exquisite eyeliner dream last night. No eyeliner involved, though. This time it was a futuristic urban setting, with white marbled landscaping rocks everywhere. Random fires popped up out of the rocks. I was carrying my clothes instead of carrying a suitcase of clothes, which meant I kept dropping the clothes, and picking them up.
